The I.M.P.A. C. T. Program of St. Louis will host a Community Forum
“It’s all About You”
The IMPACT Program requests your participation for a community forum to discuss the issues/concerns facing St. Louis area youth to include:
- Panel Discussion
- Group Discussion
- Refreshments
- Attendance Prizes
- Call to Action
Your participation will ensure the success of the event and to ensure the youth of St. Louis receive an opportunity to express & share in an open forum.
I.M.P.A.C.T. –N.E., ST. LOUIS, is a non-profit, Service Organization whose mission is to train and develop our youth for a more productive future through awareness and programming initiatives in such areas as mentoring, education, health and economic empowerment.
Our focus area includes the neighborhoods of Baden, North Point, Walnut Park East, and Walnut Park West with four target schools: Walbridge and Herzog Elementary, Northwest Academy and Beaumont High School. Our goal is to provide services to schools during the school day, after school and in the summer. The IMPACT programs include prevention and intervention services in the areas of: arts & crafts, crime & gang prevention, drug & substance abuse education, health & fitness, leadership, mental health, mentoring, music and dance, community service projects, sports and recreation, tutoring and literacy.
IMPACT is collaborating with several organizations to provide services. The current service providers are SistaKeeper Empowerment Center and the National Council on Alcoholism & Drug Abuse (NCADA).
