Founded in 1986, 100 Black Men of America is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing mentoring service, scholarship assistance and overall support for community development. There are over 88 chapters and 14,000 members across the United States, England, and The Bahamas. The Metropolitan St. Louis Chapter was one of 9 founding chapters.

National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse (NCADA)
The National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse- St. Louis Area (NCADA) is a non-profit community health agency that has been the driving force in addressing issues related to the use of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs since its beginning in 1965. NCADA provides information and education, intervention planning, counseling and referral, and a vast array of prevention services.
