- Community outreach meeting was convened in June 2007 by Alderman Gregory Carter and the St. Louis Mental Health Board to discuss a youth development project for the North East corridor of St. Louis
- Community-based Advisory Board was established to discuss a youth development project for the North East corridor of St. Louis
- Concept for IMPACT-NE St Louis was developed
- Official working title and logo was created for the IMPACT project
- Identified 100 Black Men as the Lead Agency and Fiscal Agent for the IMPACT Project
- Identified (4) area schools to receive IMPACT programming:
Herzog Elementary
Walbridge Elementary
Northwest Academy
Beaumont High
- Grant application was submitted to the Missouri Foundation of Health for primary funding of the IMPACT project
- Developed organizational structure and program matrix to illustrate how IMPACT will be implemented in the schools
- IMPACT Project Staff (Project Specialist, Program Coordinator & Administrative Clerk ) were hired to solidify organizational structure
- Developed a proposal & certification process for recruiting program service providers
- IMPACT program implementation began during the summer 2008 at the target schools
- Expansion of the IMPACT Advisory Board
- Developed IMPACT Program Manual
- Developed IMPACT Service Provider Evaluation Survey
- Outcome Framework was established as the results & evaluation tool for the IMPACT project
